Some highlights of the current version 2.16

Documentation of complete NDS ™ trees with all objects
Report Generator can generate a documentation of your NDS™ schema partition, and provide a complete list of all object class/attribute and syntax definitions.
Report Generator documents not only objects with types form one of the Novell predefined object classes. It is also able to read out every detail of objects from third party vendors and their NDS™ extensions. This is possible because Report Generator does not use a predefined list of object classes. Instead it can use all of the object class/attribute and syntax definitions defined in your unique NDS™ tree.
You define in template files ("job files") which information you want to see in the generated Report. You can selected the object classes (User, Group, OU, Application ...) to be included in the report and also the object attributes (CN, Full Name, Profile, Given Name ...) you want to see of that classes. This way it is very easy to generate a complete report with every available information, and also to generate special lists e.g. a list of all user objects with their user name, full name and object id
Retrieved information is saved in text files. You can use this files to look up information, or convert them with the included Microsoft Word ™ addon into an Word document with contents and index
You can also retrieve file system trustee assignments for every object. e.g. You can generate a list of all groups together with their trustee assignments. Report Generator can check every volume in your entire NDS™ tree for trustee assignments.
From bindery based servers (NetWare 2.x/3.x) Report Generator retrieves all details of the bindery objects. Report Generator can optional document special properties from third party extensions
Using a small 'helper nlm' at the server console, you can retrieve additional information normally not available at the client. The nlm retrieves information about the servers start partition (c:)
Report Generators retrieves a list of loaded NLM's (with date, version and file size information) and the settings of the servers "SET" parameters. (To get this information from NetWare 3.x servers, you have to load an nlm at the server console)
Report Generator currently is an Windows (16bit) application. It can be run in Windows 3.x/95 and Windows NT environments, and does not need to be installed. You can start it right away from your program disk.
You can select to use Report Generator with German or English menus and messages.
Windows help file with complete documentation in German and English language.
